August 2007 Victoria Mini Meet

THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS
The Saturday run saw the Minis climb up to through the Malahat highway, driving through scenic Mill Bay and the surrounding farmland, followed by a run around Shawnigan Lake, before heading back into Victoria. This years run was a simple Rallye with interesting questions to be answered along the way. The evening wrapped up at the Purple Garden Restaurant with door prizes and a lot of fun.
The Show and Shine at Gyro Park started out as the Show and Rain, but the skies cleared and the sun came out making for a good day overall. The diehard Mini enthusiasts and guests hung in there and watched as more door prizes and the following winner were announced.

A good showing from the Vancouver Minis Club with the Malins, Scanlans, Mcreas, Ron Boyles and Martin Webber. Our longest distance attendee was Rog the Hat, who dropped in from jolley Ol’ England to say Hello to the gang. Rog navigated the Saturday run in the Moke, clutching the side handle for dear life! Thanks to everyone for attending and for all the work from the Victoria Minis Club volunteers that make it all work!
